"Love thy Neighbour"
says Bishop of Kollam
"Love all your fellow beings, irrespective
of any superficial differences of colour, race, or religion"
said the visiting Bishop of Kollam, Rt. Rev Dr.Stanley Roman in
East Ham, London. In his message, both during the pontifical Mass
and in his reply to the reception, the Bishop stressed the importance
of all Christians living up to their responsibility to love all
their fellow beings, irrespective of any superficial differences
of colour, race or religion. "As Christians we have a moral
responsibility not to hurt others feelings. Most of the troubles
in this tumultuous world are caused by hurt feelings", he went
on to say. The Bishop also called upon the younger generation to
aim high to achieve great things in life. He expressed disappointment
that younger generation of today is highly deficient in the upward
thrust and drives to strive and achieve great things in life for
the betterment of them and their community.
