Year 2004 is the tenth anniversary of the United Nations International Year of the Family. A number of initiatives worldwide are taking place to mark the year, which seeks to raise awareness of family issues across society. So let us also join the international society to extend out share in it.

I am also delighted to share with you this year articles that reflect in today's world some of the themes that are all too familiar to us.
